With over a decade in the Energy & Utilities sector, Dan focuses on helping drive improvement for his clients.
Dan is a Principal based in the US and affiliated to the Energy and Utilities practice. As an experienced management consultant, Dan has managed major projects with utility clients in the US and abroad. During his career he has led large teams working on complex projects including many engagements in the nuclear utility industry. As part of his work, Dan has also spent time serving in an interim senior role as part of a client’s nuclear strategic plan recovery initiative.
Dan previously worked as a project manager and management consultant in the financial services industry. He spent several years with one of the largest commercial real estate advisory firms in the world, JLL. His projects involved construction and leasing requirements both for private clients and the United States Government. Mr. Scholz managed project teams including engineers, brokers, architects, attorneys, private clients and government officials on commercial lease and construction deals.
Dan is an attorney and has a Bachelor of Arts from Brigham Young University, a Juris Doctor from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts-Isenberg School of Management. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and is a member of the Washington DC Bar Association. He speaks English, German and Danish.
